I will be participating in  Rabindra Sangeet Festival in Vancouver on April 30th. The songs are coming up well and  the group is sounding very good.

Great example of harmonics in sitar

Concert by Josh Feinberg last weekend

Attended a great performance and lecture-demonstration by Josh Feinberg organized by Pratidhwani last weekend.  Josh demonstrated harmonics in Sitar, followed by authentic Maihar style bandishes and taans.

A small sample of zaala from my performance for ePrasaran.

Here is a part of the zaala in Raga Puriya Kalyan that I performed for ePrasaran recently. The song is based on a famous Marathi song sung by Asha Bhosale describing the beautiful evening and the sunset. Enjoy!
